German based producer Jogging House releases his latest EP Longings, which kicks off with the sing My This,My That. The production and musicality of this production is a great way for the producer to open his newest EP. It sets the tone for a refreshing take on what some would call a balanced mix of Trap and Chill-wave. The single moves well, it starts slow and builds itself through layers. With a dark and ambient tone, persistent snare and faint sample repeating the phrase “My this, My that”, it engulfs the listener in a soundscape that could only be described as euphoric. Overall the song has great composition. It builds on itself, climaxes and resolves seamlessly.

I recommend this track strongly for any listener looking for that relaxing, late night sound escape.

Jogging House-Love 2 Love U

I’ve been following Germany r&b project Jogging House for a few months now and since I wore out their last EP, Relations, I’ve been eagerly waiting for some new material to drift throughout my ears. Luckily, I won’t have to wait too much longer because yesterday Jogging House posted a few new tracks from his upcoming Longings EP and it’s scheduled to drop on December 17th. Look at it as an early Christmas present or a pre apocalypse gift, but either way it’s still something to look forward to. “Love 2 Love U” is the opening track from the upcoming release and though it shows Jogging House in a slightly familiar element, that’s not a bad thing at all. The track immediately places listeners in a warm, amorous atmosphere with it’s vibrant yet subtle nature and angelic, childlike vocal loops and as it coasts along on crisp beats and dreamy synth lines, you can’t help but to feel a sense of tranquility. Be sure to follow Jogging House on soundcloud to hear more and if you haven’t yet, check out his bandcamp page and grab his two previous EPs, Relations and Foreplay, for a “name your own” price.
